Dracaena, in addition to its beautiful appearance, also has bactericidal properties - the flower is able to humidify the air and cleanse it of various toxic substances.

In order for the plant to continually delight its owner, it is worth paying attention to feeding.

So, in spring and summer, fertilizers should be applied every 14 days.

For this purpose, both ready-made mineral preparations and compositions prepared by hand are suitable.

For example, you can prepare an effective fertilizer by mixing 25 g of onion peel and 1 liter of water. The resulting mass should be boiled and boiled for some time, then cooled and used for watering.

There is another, no less effective recipe, this time using banana and orange peels.

To prepare the fertilizer, pour water over the peel of one banana and one orange, and then add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the liquid.

Infuse the mixture for 20 days in a dark place, and before use, strain, squeezing out the peels, and dilute with water in a ratio of 1 to 20.
