To create a large, lush, exotic tree from a monstera, you will need time and, of course, proper care.

According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , first of all it is worth taking care of the light.

Lighting should be of high quality, while direct sunlight should be avoided. Thus, the best option is diffused light.

Don't forget to place an artificial light source with the flower in winter. If you notice that the monstera leaves have become pale and small, look for the reason in the lack of lighting.

You can also tell from the leaves whether the room temperature is suitable for the plant.

If the leaf blades have turned yellow and are covered with brown spots, this means that the flower is in a draft. Make sure that the air temperature in the room in spring and autumn is in the range of 20 to 25 degrees, while in winter it should be a maximum of 14 degrees.

Watering is, of course, important. The soil in the pot with the monstera should be constantly moist. The water for watering should be at room temperature.

Since the leaves of this exotic plant are impressive in size, they should be periodically wiped from dust.

To make the leaves shiny, use the following life hack: wipe them with water with a drop of milk added.
