Opening the vine after wintering is an important event that must be carried out on time.
But you shouldn't rush the procedure, because there is a risk of recurrent frosts. As a result, you can end up without any fruit at all.
Therefore, first you need to open the shelter when the air temperature warms up to 7 degrees Celsius.
If the weather immediately becomes warm, it is advisable to replace the usual cover with a lighter one to save the plant from frost.
As soon as the spring return frosts pass, then only after that can the grapes be fully opened. Usually during this period the weather is consistently warm, when the temperature during the day does not fall below 10 degrees Celsius, and in the evening and at night not below 5 degrees Celsius.
