If all the work on the ground in the raspberry patch has already been done, and the bushes have been trimmed and processed, then it’s time to feed the raspberries.
How to feed raspberries in spring
Fertilizing is carried out after the air temperature has finally reached positive values and the soil has warmed up. Organic or mineral substances are used.
Mineral fertilizers
For spring, summer residents choose ammonium nitrate, urea or kemira.
In the first two cases, you just need to scatter the fertilizer at a rate of 1 spoon per square meter, and then rake it into the soil.
Kemira is diluted in water at a rate of 3 tablespoons per 10 liters. The composition is enough to feed up to 10 bushes.
Organic fertilizers
Manure, humus and chicken droppings are used.
Manure or droppings are diluted in water at a rate of 1 kg per 10 liters, and the finished solution is poured under the bushes.
Humus is added at a rate of up to 5 kg per square meter.
Important! Before fertilizing, do not forget to weed out the weeds, cut off shoots older than two years, loosen the soil to a depth of 5-10 cm and water.
