In order for the beds to become fertile and the harvest to be incredibly rich, gardeners and vegetable growers resort to the help of fertilizers.
However, there is no need to buy fertilizers in a specialized store - you can make them yourself, for example, from sawdust.
Why is it worth using wood chips as a nutrient composition? The answer is simple: sawdust is nothing more than a product of organic origin, which was obtained during the processing of wood.
To turn sawdust into a full-fledged fertilizer, it is worth mixing it in equal parts with manure and ordinary soil taken from your own plot.
Now cover the resulting mixture with film and leave it to rot. Don't forget: periodically remove the cover and stir the mixture.
In addition to the above ingredients, finely chopped grass can be included in the composition of the future fertilizer.
Please note: the process of preparing the nutrient composition is quite long and takes from 4 to 6 months. This means that you will be able to use such fertilizer only next year.
However, there is a little trick that will reduce the waiting time. It consists of adding a small amount of urea, which will speed up the rotting process.
