As is known, picking is the process of transplanting young seedlings from a common container into individual containers.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how to carry out such transshipment of pepper seedlings so as not to lose some of it.

First of all, it is worth noting that pepper reacts negatively to such manipulations, so you need to start picking early, on the 12-14th day of the seedlings' life.

Since the pepper root system is vulnerable, replanting should be done with a piece of soil, without completely exposing the root.

In order to distribute each peppercorn into its own house, you should prepare the required number of containers in advance, the volume of which should ideally be equal to 300-350 ml.

Please note: do not water the pepper seedlings before picking - otherwise the soil will become heavy, which will affect the tearing of the roots. It is worth moistening the soil 2 days before picking.

In the middle of each pot, use your fingers to form a depression into which you should add a pinch of mycorrhiza and the same amount of “Kornevin” (powder).

There is no need to deepen the plantings: their depth should be at the same level as before. When everything is ready, carefully press the soil around the seedling and compact it with your fingers, after which you can water it with a small amount of water.
