To grow strong and healthy tomato seedlings, you need to follow some rules.

First, you need to prepare the seeds, select the bad ones. Prepare a 5% salt solution and immerse the seeds in it for about ten minutes.

Bad seeds will float immediately. Rinse good seeds under running water and leave to swell in it.

Afterwards, the seeds need to be germinated. Place the seeds in a damp napkin, cover with film and leave in a warm place for a day.

When the seeds sprout, cover them with film to prevent moisture from evaporating.

You need to harden the seeds by placing them in the refrigerator door, wrapped in cling film for a day. After that, they need to be planted in the ground immediately.

Prepare the soil, mix peat, earth and humus in equal proportions. Add 10 grams of urea, potassium sulfate and superphosphate to a bucket of the mixture.

Fry the mixture for half an hour at 100 degrees. You can add coconut substrate to the soil mixture. You can buy ready-made soil in the store. Plant the seeds from mid-February to mid-March. If you are going to grow in open ground, sow in early March.

Sow the seeds in wooden boxes twelve centimeters high. Plant the seeds at a distance of 5 cm and at a depth of 1 cm.

Water them with the solution in which the seeds were soaked or with water. Cover the box with film and place it on the windowsill, where the temperature will be at least 25 degrees. The first shoots will appear in a week.

Check the amount of light. Seedlings need 13 to 15 hours of light. When the first loops appear, leave the light for a day. Then it is worth moving it to a cooler place, 17 degrees.

Water the seedlings with warm, settled water. Don't forget about fertilizing. Water the tomatoes, then repeat this in a week along with fertilizers. Water the third time a few hours before picking. After that, moisten the tomatoes once every five days.

When five leaves appear, water once every three days.

Top dressing. Dissolve a teaspoon of "Agricole-Forward" in 1 liter of water. This solution will strengthen the root system. When three leaves appear, dissolve a tablespoon of "Efectone" in 1 liter of water. A couple of weeks after picking, dissolve a tablespoon of ammophoska in a bucket of water and water the seedlings.

Tomatoes need to be pricked out. Prepare containers with soil and water them with a solution of manganese. Plant seedlings that have three true leaves. Grow tomatoes at a temperature of 21 degrees Celsius for several days. When the seedlings take root, the temperature should be reduced by 3 degrees. After three weeks, transplant the seedlings into a larger container, pinch the main root and water with warm water.

Don't forget to harden off tomatoes starting in April and June. You need to take the seedlings out into the fresh air during the day and bring them inside at night.
