How to Feed an Apricot so that the Fruit Grows to the Size of a Peach: Nothing Complicated

Most often, the apricots that you managed to grow in your own garden have nothing in common with large fruits.

The reason why the fruits turned out small is the lack of fertilizing and watering, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist and landscape designer.

If you have decided to correct the current situation at any cost, you should start applying fertilizers as soon as spring arrives.

First of all, before the trees bloom, they should be sprayed with a solution prepared from 10 liters of water and 50 g of urea.

August is also a good time to add additional nutrition, when you should stock up on 2 tablespoons of granulated superphosphate and a tablespoon of chloride-free potassium.

Dissolve the above ingredients in 10 liters of water and water the apricot. You can repeat the procedure after 2 weeks.

In the fall, the nutrient composition is added as soon as the harvest is collected.

The same wood ash can be used as a fertilizer; a liter of it should be evenly distributed in the tree trunk circle, and then watered with the plantings.
