Potassium permanganate for seedlings: benefit or harm

Many gardeners are accustomed to soaking seeds in a solution based on potassium permanganate.

But it is a mistake to think that such a product is a growth stimulant. In fact, it is a method of processing seed material.

If you use potassium permanganate to treat young plants, it will only cause harm.

It should be taken into account that potassium permanganate can save plants only if the concentration of the solution is very strong. But in this case, the plants will be burned. Therefore, experienced gardeners say that the preparation is suitable only for preparing a weak root dressing.

To begin, you need to dilute a minimum amount of the preparation (on the tip of a knife) in 500 ml of water. The liquid should be a faint pink tint.

After that, you need to add fish oil. It will be enough to squeeze just 2 capsules into the mixture.

Once everything is thoroughly mixed, you can dilute the resulting fertilizer with another 1.5 liters of clean water. The seedlings should be watered at the root. The product should be used fresh.
