If you grow cherries not only for yourself, but also for sale, you need to have at least a cherry orchard for this.

Some people buy tree seedlings for this purpose, while others persistently root cuttings. We will tell you why the first method is still preferable to the second.

1. Grade and quality

If we are talking about a trusted seller, then, having bought a seedling, you can count on the fact that the tree will grow healthy and strong in your region, which means there will be no problems with the harvest.

When propagating cuttings, you should not count on this effect.

2. Time

The time costs are simply incomparable. The seedling only needs to be planted, while the cutting must first take root.

3. Harvest

Many gardeners note that it is better to grow different varieties of the same crop in a garden plot. Here you should not be afraid of the cross-pollination effect, as with sweet and hot peppers.

At the same time, breeding one variety by cuttings does not improve the quality and quantity of fruits in any way.

As a result, after spending a lot of time, the gardener may become disappointed when he sees a lousy result.
