Crassula, or fat woman, or, as it is also called, money tree, is a popular indoor plant among gardeners.

The plant can be recognized by its tree-like trunk and thick glossy leaves.

But if the appearance of the fat woman is familiar, perhaps, to everyone, then the information that the money tree can please its owner with flowering is a real and, of course, pleasant surprise for many.

What should you do to see for yourself that the flowering of Crassula is not a myth, but a reality?

1. First of all, it is worth replanting the plant as its crown grows. As soon as you notice that the fat woman has become cramped, move it along with the soil lump to a more spacious pot, adding fresh soil to it and not forgetting about the drainage layer.

2. Make sure that the money tree has access to sunlight. However, on a sunny day, it is better to remove the flowerpot from the window facing south to avoid burns.

3. But you shouldn’t overdo it with watering – it’s enough to moisten the soil in the pot 1-2 times a week in the summer and 1 time per month in the winter.

4. In order for the fat woman to bloom, it is worth periodically “treating” it with mineral complexes, which include phosphorus, nitrogen, potassium, calcium and other elements necessary for the plant.

5. Finally, you will have to take care of maintaining a certain temperature regime. In the summer, the crassula is allowed to be taken out onto the balcony or loggia, and in the fall and winter, the temperature in the room where the money tree lives should be lowered to +12-15 degrees.
