How to feed honeysuckle in early spring: there will be many large berries

The very first berry is honeysuckle. It is also very pleasant that the bushes can grow like strays, but there will always be a harvest.

The only question is what kind of harvest it will be. If you want the berries to be large, you need to pay attention to the bush sometimes. And then there will be many large berries.

This plant does not require anything special. A standard set of procedures: pruning, processing, fertilizing.

Fertilizing honeysuckle

The plant likes mineral supplements more than organic ones. It is enough to add organics only once per season. But in general, the plant needs to be fed three times.

First feeding. Fertilizers are applied when the buds have just begun to swell.

You can use an infusion of chicken manure, mullein or grass.

Of the mineral additives, urea is used (1 tbsp. per 10 l), the consumption is 20-25 liters per bush (adult) and half as much for a young one.

Bushes are not fed until they are three years old.

Second feeding. It is carried out just before flowering.

It will be easier and better to add complex spring fertilizers, for example, 2 tablespoons of "Fertika" per 10 liters of water (2 buckets per adult bush).

Third feeding. During the ripening of berries

Take 1 tbsp. of "Fertika" per 10 liters of water and 2 tbsp. of potassium monophosphate.

If you do everything right, you can achieve an unprecedented honeysuckle harvest.
