The basis for healthy and proper development of seedlings is watering with high-quality water.

It is enough to take into account simple nuances in order to strengthen young plants with the help of only water.

Liquid for irrigation

According to experts, water should not contain chlorine and fluorine impurities. Liquids that contain many heavy metals have an adverse effect on plants. A high concentration of impurities can kill seedlings. It is necessary to use water with a neutral pH - ≈7.0.

It is not difficult to achieve such a result. It is better to water the seedlings with boiled or filtered water. Alternatively, use distilled, melted or rain water.

Temperature

The optimal liquid level for watering seedlings is 20-22 °C, the permissible limit is 25 °C. It is advisable to let the water settle before watering.

The soil in which the seedlings grow is moistened regularly, not allowing it to dry out completely. Young plants especially need watering.

Nutrient moisture

For seedlings, you can prepare not just water for irrigation, but a small fertilizer. For 10 liters of water, take 1 g of citric acid or 1 peat tablet.
