Beetles called "weevils" or "elephants" are far from harmless to raspberries.
They feed on various parts of the plant and can leave the gardener without a harvest.
Weevils are among the most common beetles on Earth. They got their name from the elongated front part of their head – the rostrum. They feed on both flowers and roots.
You can discourage the weevil from raspberries with the help of a folk remedy. After using it, the beetle will lose interest in the bushes.
To do this, you need to prepare a solution of garlic. To prepare the remedy, take 100 grams of dried leaves and 2 cloves.
The raw materials are crushed using any convenient method, then poured with 8 liters of warm water and infused for 24 hours.
The resulting product is filtered, poured into a sprayer and applied to the plants - 1 liter per square meter. Many pests cannot stand the smell of garlic. Therefore, it is not only the weevil that will start to avoid the raspberry bush.
