What all gardeners who are going to grow hot peppers need to know: important rules

The first thing to remember if you want to harvest your own hot peppers is that you don't need a separate garden bed to grow them. Even a windowsill will do.

To do this, you will have to start growing seedlings, and sowing should be done in February-March.

Don't forget to pre-treat the grains. Succinic acid is perfect for this.

After the shoots appear, take the containers with seedlings to a light place. If sowing was done early, in early February, you cannot do without additional lighting lamps.

When you notice that the plants have formed two true leaves, you can plant them one by one in 200 ml cups (a drainage layer is required).

After the root system of the plants has entwined the entire lump of earth, it should be divided into 2 parts - transfer one of the parts into 500 ml seedling pots, where they will remain until the time comes to transplant them into open ground.

The second part will go into flowerpots, at the bottom of which you should put large pieces of foam.

Peppers grown in pots can be placed outside all summer, periodically moving them to a greenhouse if temperatures are expected to drop.

In October, bring the pots indoors, where they will continue to produce fruit throughout the winter.
