Everyone loves sweet and fleshy tomatoes. They are good in salads, preserves and even just raw.

In the ranking of garden vegetables, tomatoes have firmly established themselves in the top five and are not inferior in popularity to either potatoes or cucumbers. Here's what you need to do to harvest sweet and fleshy tomatoes.

Some gardeners are sure that this indicator depends first of all on the variety, and then on weather factors. There is no way around this either.

But in fact, the taste of fruits can be improved with the most ordinary fertilizers.

How to fertilize tomatoes

Firstly, tomatoes love proper watering – i.e. without drought or over-watering, not frequent but abundant watering (approximately 1-2 times a week, and 2-3 times in hot weather).

Secondly, tomatoes need a suitable air temperature – 25-27 during the day and 15-17 at night.

Thirdly, provide the seedlings with at least 8 hours of daylight.

These are objective factors, and now subjective ones.

If the summer resident cannot influence the weather, then everything else is in his hands. Therefore, we prepare the simplest solutions for watering.

Solution No. 1

Add 1 tbsp of table salt and 1 cup of sifted ash to a bucket of water, leave to infuse for 2 days. Consumption for watering is 0.5 liters per bush.

Solution No. 2

Take 2 liters of whey per bucket of water, dilute and use for regular watering. During the summer, 3-4 such feedings are carried out.

Add a few drops of iodine and a handful of ash to the same composition. Fertilizer consumption is 1 liter per bush.
