City dwellers should not feel constrained in terms of their choice of means to prepare for the new sowing season.

In particular, when you need to soak the seeds, you can prepare at least four solutions without leaving your home. You don’t need wood ash or any other organic matter for this.

Tip one: honey solution

This is the most accessible option, because honey is in every home. To prepare it, you will need 1 glass of warm water and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix the ingredients until completely dissolved, and then place the seeds in a gauze bag in the water.

Tip two: aloe juice

You need to take several leaves from a plant that is at least 3 years old. Choose shoots from the lower part of the flower. The cut branches are kept in the refrigerator for a week, then crushed into a puree and the juice is squeezed out using gauze.

Before soaking the seeds in aloe juice, they are warmed up on a radiator. Usually they are soaked for a day, but 18 hours is enough for tomatoes.

Fresh seeds are soaked in aloe juice diluted in water in a 1:1 ratio.

Tip three: mushroom broth

When soaking dried mushrooms in boiling water, do not drain it. After the mushrooms have soaked and the water has cooled, you can soak the vegetable seeds in it for 6 hours.

Tip 4: Potato juice

Clean tubers should be kept in the freezer for 24 hours, then defrosted and the juice squeezed out. The seeds are kept in this solution for 6-8 hours.
