Cultivated plants can be fertilized with peelings, watered periodically with water infused with them, and potato peelings can be scattered over the soil surface. However, it is important to know that its smell can attract pests.

Benefits of Potato Peels

Potato peelings contain a large number of useful microelements. Plants need potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, fluorine, and peelings can provide this.

Phosphorus accelerates the growth of the root system and promotes flowering of plants. Thanks to potassium, berries will grow large, juicy and sweet.

Fertilizer for currants

Currants are lovers of potato peels. If you feed currant bushes with potato peels, the berries will grow large, fleshy and very sweet.

Fertilizer must be applied correctly. To water currant bushes, the peelings are placed in a barrel and filled with boiling water so that the water completely covers the peelings layer by 5-6 cm.

In about a week, the nutrient solution for watering will be ready. You can add chopped nettle to the barrel to increase its usefulness. As the solution is used, add water to the container.
