Acidity

First of all, check the acidity of the beds. If the soil is too acidic, then water absorption is impaired, the strawberry roots will not be able to absorb nutrients and the development of the plants will slow down.

Products familiar to many will help reduce soil acidity. Use wood ash or dolomite flour for this.

Fertilizers

A popular fertilizer can harm strawberries and stop fruiting. We are talking about nitrogen.

Excess of this fertilizer will negatively affect the future harvest. If the leaves on the strawberries turn green and become rich green, then this is a signal that there is an excess of nitrogen in the soil.

Boron deficiency will also negatively affect the yield of the crop, and the quality and size of the berries will suffer.
