Strawberries will delight you with a bountiful harvest if you organize proper care and favorable conditions.
The minimum number of fertilizing per season, and there should be at least 3, will help the plant develop well and bear fruit.
The berries will grow sweet, juicy and beautiful.
The main stages of fertilization:
- in spring, when vegetation begins;
- during flowering;
- last feeding in autumn.
Bloom
During the flowering period of strawberries, you can use a natural solution of nettle.
The infusion will saturate the soil with useful substances, promote the growth and development of roots, and increase crop yields.
Nettle fertilizer is given to strawberries in the spring during flowering and is prepared from fresh leaves and stems of the plant.
Fill the barrel halfway with chopped nettles and top up with water. Let it stand for 13-14 days. Dilute the finished concentrate with ten parts of water and you can water it.
Fruiting
During fruiting, it is useful to feed strawberries with natural fertilizers. And mullein will help.
For fertilization, 1 liter of mullein is used per 15 liters of water. The composition is left to infuse under the lid for 72 hours, after which 1 liter of liquid is added under each bush.
