It is difficult to find a garden plot where potatoes are not grown. However, this popular root vegetable is a great help and helps to prepare a lot of different dishes.

Every gardener wants to get as much harvest as possible.

To do this, before planting, it is necessary to carry out preparatory work so that the soil is more fertile.

How to fertilize the soil in spring

It is advisable to add 20 grams of potassium sulfate and ammonium nitrate per square meter.

You can use a mixture of organic and mineral fertilizers. In this case, you need to add 200 grams of wood ash mixed with 6 kilograms of humus and two tablespoons of nitrophoska to the soil.

A mixture of 8 kilograms of humus, 400 grams of dolomite flour, 30 grams of superphosphate will be effective. If desired, it will not be superfluous to add another 20 grams of potassium sulfate and ammonium nitrate to such fertilizer.

Pure mineral fertilizers are also suitable. Gardeners advise adding a mixture of 30 grams of nitroammophoska and 40 grams of nitrophoska per square meter.

Such simple means will help ensure excellent growth and a high-quality potato harvest.
