Aphid Remedy
The spray liquid is based on garlic. To prepare the product, summer residents take 10 large heads.
Peel the garlic, place it in a saucepan, add water and boil for 2 hours.
The idea is to get the vegetable to release an organic compound called allicin.
According to experts, it not only has a bactericidal effect, but also repels aphids. The cabbage white butterfly does not like this substance either.
The decoction is diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio and the cabbage is sprayed on the leaves. To prevent the solution from flowing directly onto the ground, 50 g of shavings of laundry soap are added. Or it is used in liquid form.
Apply the product early in the morning or in the evening, when the sun's activity is minimal. It is not recommended to spray if rain is expected in the near future, since you will have to repeat the treatment later. The product should remain on the cabbage leaves for at least 2-3 days.
