Rhododendron will take root easily, like tulips: one condition, without which all efforts are in vain

Rhododendron is the pearl of any site, but, as is typical for all “queens of the garden”, it is very capricious.

Not all gardeners manage to grow rhododendron. And all because of one condition that they do not observe.

The plant will put down strong roots and give many years of flowering if certain trees grow nearby.

Experienced gardeners have pointed out that rhododendron is in no hurry to put down deep roots if “bad” neighbors grow nearby.

For example, the bush takes root well on the site if there are conifers nearby. They have an excellent symbiosis with these plants, due to which the rhododendron takes root faster.

So, the plant can be planted next to a blue spruce. The bush will not bloom immediately, because it still needs time to accumulate plastic substances. However, planting next to conifers is a good help.
