Water can affect the quality of the pepper crop.
In order for plants to develop and grow well, they need proper watering. However, not all methods of soil moistening are suitable.
So, many summer residents make a mistake when they water seedlings and adult plants in the same way.
Before transplanting into open ground, pepper can be watered not only under the root. Water can get on the leaves and stem.
Plants in open ground can only be watered under the root. Peppers can only be sprayed on the leaves to protect against pests or to be fertilized. As for watering on the leaves, rain is enough for the plants.
Pepper should never be overwatered, otherwise the plantings will wither and the harvest will be poor. There is no talk of any sweetness of the fruit in this case.
In hot weather, experts advise watering peppers every day. Allocate 1-3 liters per plant (depending on the size of the bushes). The water temperature should be within 20-25 °C.
