Hydrangea is popularly called the “queen of the garden,” but without human help it will not confirm its high status.
The plant needs nutrition for lush flowering. One fertilizer can provide it, which will turn the hydrangea into a real "queen of the garden".
Passionate gardeners have found a way to make the plant bloom abundantly. Moreover, this process can last twice as long.
The method is based on top dressing, which consists of three stages. Hydrangea needs attention throughout the season. Then, from year to year, the result will exceed even the wildest expectations.
1. The first feeding consists of urea (2 tablespoons per 10 liters of water) and potassium magnesium sulfate (1 tablespoon per 10 liters of water). The feeding is applied under the root. 10 liters of fertilizer per plant in mid-April.
2. The next feeding is done after 2 months. In mid-June, prepare a mixture of nitrophoska (1 tbsp. per 10 l of water) and "Agricola" (1 tbsp. per 10 l of water).
The composition increases the number of ovaries and stimulates more lush flowering of hydrangea.
3. The last feeding of the season is done 3 months after the second. In mid-September, the emphasis is on potassium-phosphorus fertilizers.
This kind of feeding will form the foundation for lush flowering next year. The plant will accumulate nutrients, thanks to which it will survive the winter without problems and will delight you with flowering with renewed vigor in the new season.
