I really want red, yellow or green bell peppers to be sweet, juicy and with thick, fleshy walls.
Some gardeners believe that everything depends on the variety, while others remind us about the weather, and only experience tells us that peppers need to be properly cared for.
Let's try to figure out what is needed to grow exactly this kind of bell pepper crop.
It is believed that it is best to start sowing closer to March or at the beginning of March, because February seedlings may simply sit out in an uncomfortable climate.
It is recommended to germinate the seeds, sow them in nutritious soil, provide moderate watering, lighting and suitable temperature.
For peppers, choose the most sunlit place. The seedlings will not forgive drafts and dense planting. The interval-distance between bushes (and rows) should be at least 40-50 cm (respectively). Many adhere to the planting scheme of 50x50 cm.
The seedlings should be planted at the same depth at which they grew in the cup, and then the soil around the young plants is mulched.
After transplanting, young bushes are watered only at the roots to prevent water from getting on the leaves. And most importantly, do not flood the plantings, otherwise the bushes will wither very quickly.
