Of all the orchids, the most popular indoor flower is the phalaenopsis, which is considered the most unpretentious.

This plant also has certain requirements, but any gardener can cope with them in no time.

Knowledgeable housewives simply feed the orchid with the right fertilizer, and even weak phalaenopsis plants produce buds.

There is also another trick that gardeners do when the orchid has finished blooming. The plant is replanted into new soil, but before that, one simple procedure is carried out.

How to improve the health of an orchid

Pour water into a larger container. You need enough liquid so that the orchid roots are completely immersed in it.

For every 500 ml of water add 1 tbsp. of turmeric. Mix the solution and then place the orchid in it. While the roots are soaking in this liquid, take a cotton pad and wipe the leaves with this solution.

After half an hour, the phalaenopsis is removed from the water and transplanted into new soil. Turmeric is a natural bactericide. Soaking in the solution will help to grow lateral roots, strengthen the health of the plant and stimulate lush flowering.
