Powdery mildew is a fungus that appears as a white coating on fruits, leaves and shoots.

To avoid infection, it is necessary to monitor the growing conditions of cucumbers.

The disease can be provoked by high humidity, frequent watering, temperature fluctuations, dense plantings, abundant fertilizing, watering with ice water and untimely removal of weeds.

There are several effective methods for treating cucumbers from powdery mildew.

Mechanical

In the early stages, you can simply remove and burn the affected branches if there are very few of them.

Use of fungicides

This can only be done long before harvesting, so as not to spoil the taste of the cucumbers.

You can use "Trichodermin". It is suitable for treating young and adult plants.

Make a solution according to the instructions and water the affected bushes in the root area.

Folk method

To do this, mix 1 liter of milk, 20 grams of soap and 20 drops of iodine.

Treat the infected bushes with the resulting mixture.
