So, in order to disinfect the seeds, many vegetable growers use hydrogen peroxide.
If you don’t have any medicine at hand, a pale pink solution of potassium permanganate will do.
The seeds should lie in this improvised bath for about 20 minutes.
If this procedure is neglected, then some of the future peppers, if not half, will die from root rot.
After disinfection, the seeds should be rinsed under running water, and then you can proceed to the next procedure - germination.
To do this, the bottom of a suitable container is covered with a layer of fabric or paper, which is soaked in water (settled or boiled), and the seeds are placed on top.
All that remains is to close the container with a lid and take it to a warm place. Small white sprouts usually appear in 4-10 days – then you can start sowing.
