An expert of the online publication Belnovosti , agronomist and author of the blog Conscious Gardening Anastasia Kovrizhnykh named four reasons why it is not possible to get a decent cabbage harvest.
The basis for the fruiting of the crop is regular watering. Cabbage loves water and does not tolerate drought.
The second reason may be a disease called clubroot. Ball-shaped growths form on the roots, due to which the plant does not receive either water or nutrition. This is an extremely dangerous fungal disease.
In addition, cabbage cannot be planted in the shade. It is a light-loving crop that will only yield a decent harvest with good lighting.
And the fourth reason is related to nutritional deficiency. It is necessary to take care of feeding during planting and during the development of fruits.
