Any diseases and pest attacks are the result of gardener’s mistakes and violation of agricultural technology rules.

It is not a fact that after preventive treatment the strawberries will not get sick. And if this happens, you need to know how to treat fungal diseases and bacterial rot in the berry.

Gray mold

This fungal disease actively develops in damp weather. Its signs are gray mold on ovaries or berries. In this case, treating the plantings before flowering with the preparations "Skor" or "Prognoz" can help.

Powdery mildew

The disease manifests itself as a white coating. It also refers to fungal diseases. At the first signs, use Fitosporin-M - once every 14-20 days or Topaz according to the instructions.

Brown spot

In this case, brown spots form on the leaves, if left untreated, the tendrils and stalks may die, and the yield will decrease by 8-14%. For treatment, fungicides "Horus", "Prognoz", "Ordan" or a solution of potassium permanganate (5 g per 10 l of water) are used.
