What gardener doesn’t dream of seeing friendly and healthy shoots of the crops they grow as soon as possible?

If we are talking about carrots, then in this case you can achieve your goal using grandma's method, which involves burying the seeds before planting.

To do this, in early spring, as soon as the snow begins to melt, the seeds should be placed in a cloth bag made of canvas or linen.

After this, start digging a hole – its depth should be approximately 30 cm.

Place the bag with planting material at the bottom of the hole and bury it.

Be sure to build a mound of snow on top - this way the carrots will not freeze and will receive enough moisture.

Don't forget to mark the place where you buried the carrots. This way you'll easily find it when it's time to dig the seeds out.

Digging is done after 10-12 days. Thanks to this simple method, you can harden and germinate the seeds, after which they are completely ready for sowing in open ground conditions.
