Lavender can rightfully be called a unique plant. Just imagine – while it is showing off in the beds, they are protected from pests.

At the same time, when the flowers are already cut, they will become an excellent fragrance for things, and also protect them from moths. And lavender is mentioned quite often in folk recipes.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what to do with seeds if you want to get lavender seedlings.

It is worth taking care of the seed material much earlier than the summer cottage season begins – at the beginning of December.

Place the seeds on a damp cotton pad and cover them with a second pad on top.

This unique preparation should be placed on a saucer and packed in a bag, then placed in the refrigerator for a month.

After 30 days, move the seeds to a warm place. Over the next 2-3 weeks, you will be able to see how almost all the sprouts have hatched.

By the way, if you really want to grow lavender, but can't afford it because of the high price of seeds, go shopping in large shopping centers around September. As a rule, at this time you can buy seed material for mere pennies.
