Lots of ovaries, large berries: advice that will transform your currants

Summer residents who grow red currant bushes on their plots often encounter problems in the form of yellowing leaves and small, tasteless berries.

While some gardeners rush to uproot the plants and plant new bushes in their place, others act differently, restoring the currant yield in a secret way.

If you encounter a similar problem, you will have to act as follows.

On both sides between the red currant bushes, it is necessary to dig a trench, the width of which is approximately equal to two spade bayonets. The depth of the hole should be the same.

When the hole is ready, you should put all the grass collected on the site into it along with the tops of the plants.

The next component is a bucket of horse manure.

After this, the contents of the pit should be poured with an ash solution, for the preparation of which it is necessary to stir 3 tablespoons of ash in a bucket of water.

Cover the hole with soil and forget about it until spring. When the next season comes, the currants will be unrecognizable – the lush and green bushes will delight you with an excellent harvest of large and healthy berries.
