Often, site owners plant trees and shrubs intuitively, without thinking about the acceptability of the proximity of certain plants.

Thujas are popular among gardeners. Along with them, many people also have junipers on their plots.

This is a beautiful coniferous shrub that has a pleasant aroma. In appearance, juniper is completely harmless.

But it turned out that this bush is not as simple as it seems. Juniper is not recommended to be planted next to apple trees, pears and other fruit trees.

This shrub often suffers from rust. The fungal disease can easily spread to neighboring plants.

Reddish-brown spots appear on the leaves of fruit trees. If you ignore the problem and let the disease develop, the only thing left to do is cut down the tree.

At the initial stage, plants can still be saved. Damaged parts are removed, and then the plants are treated with phytoncidal preparations.
