How to Fight Powdery Mildew on Cucumbers. All Gardeners Should Know

Cucumber plantings are often affected by powdery mildew.
This fungus can spread quickly and destroy all vegetable bushes in a short time.
Use several recipes to overcome this problem.
Processing cucumbers with whey
To prepare the solution, prepare the following components:
- drinking water - 5 l;
- whey - 0.5 l;
- ammonia from a pharmacy - 25 ml.
Combine all ingredients and mix well. After removing diseased shoots with leaves, spray the plants with this solution.
Treatment with baking soda and soap
Prepare the following ingredients:
- baking soda - 5 tablespoons;
- drinking warm water - 8-10 liters;
- liquid laundry soap - 50 grams.
Dissolve all ingredients in water and treat cucumbers with this solution.
Treatment with a decoction of horsetail
- Pick some horsetail grass and chop it up.
- Fill with water and leave to infuse for 3 days.
- Then boil for 2 hours.
- Strain and dilute with clean water in a 1:1 ratio.
Treatment with mustard powder
Dilute 100 g of mustard powder in 10 liters of water. Mix well and spray the diseased leaves with this solution. Do this procedure once a day for 7 days.
