Having noticed such a phenomenon, you need to decide as soon as possible how to properly and skillfully preserve the rose bush.
The owners plant these flowers on their plots to admire their beauty for a long time.
It is a pity that sometimes roses stop blooming for no apparent reason. In addition, the bushes begin to change their appearance very quickly.
Rose hips, or wild roses, are beginning to appear.
After some time, the wild shoots gain strength and new growth appears from them. These shoots suck out the largest share of useful substances from the rose.
As a result, flowering rose bushes begin to weaken and lose their beauty.
So, this phenomenon happens very often, so there are some difficulties that have a certain solution.
The most common reasons for rose transformation are:
New shoots have a red tint at first, and then turn green. But rosehip shoots immediately grow green, they do not have a red tint.
Rose hips have smaller thorns than roses, and they are located more densely along the stem.
Rose hips have long, dull leaves. Roses, on the contrary, have bright, round leaves.
Carefully remove the soil from the rose rootstock and find the rosehip shoots.
Break off these shoots at the beginning of their growth. When the shoots are very coarse, then trim them. Young shoots should be cut close to the roots to prevent new ones from appearing.
After 3-4 days, you need to feed the rose with superphosphate. Add 50 grams of superphosphate to a liter of warm water, then dilute the concentrated mixture 1:10. You can prevent the appearance of new rosehip shoots. To do this, regularly water the bushes with this mixture.
The most powerful root system of the rose hip produces shoots in a radius of approximately 2-3 meters. So, be sure to inspect not only the flower beds, but also the adjacent area where they grow.
