Folk remedies against late blight on tomatoes

Garlic infusion has a very good effect against this scourge. Garlic contains esters that kill late blight.

It is used as a preventative measure and for the treatment of the initial stage of the disease.

It is necessary to chop 1.5 kg of garlic and pour 3 liters of water. The infusion is left under the lid for three days, and then diluted in 10 liters of water.

Add 50 g of laundry soap shavings to the prepared solution for adhesion and spray the bushes thoroughly.

The procedure is repeated every 10 days.

Milk also helps stop the development of late blight on tomatoes. Lactic acid bacteria prevent the fungus spores from multiplying, and the late blight dies.

It is necessary to dissolve 1 liter of milk in 10 liters of water, add 20 drops of pharmaceutical iodine and spray the plants.

The procedure can be repeated every week. Milk also helps tomatoes ripen faster.

Wood ash is also used against late blight. Thus, it is necessary to simply dust the soil in the garden bed and tomato leaves with ash to stop the spread of the fungus.

Ash is also used for spraying tomatoes, for which 200 g of ash is dissolved in 5 liters of boiling water.
