Cyclamen likes to give gardeners a difficult task: the plant can bloom, but the leaves turn yellow and dry out.
The alpine violet shows two contradictory signs when its owners carry out its least favorite procedure.
In such cases, the cyclamen is in two states: it blooms profusely and smells fragrant, but the green mass withers, eloquently indicating the problem.
The plant may dry out due to bright sunlight. This is not a reason to put the cyclamen in the shade.
The flower loves good lighting, but the light should be diffused. It is the scorching sun rays that cause the leaves of the alpine violet to dry out.
Another problem is related to watering. Many flowers love sprinkling, even a light spray can revive them.
But this method does not work with cyclamen and can cause harm. The plant must be watered strictly under the root, so that the water does not touch the leaves. Ideally, the liquid should be poured into the tray so that the moisture comes from below, not from above.
