An expert of the online publication Belnovosti , agronomist and author of the blog Conscious Gardening Anastasia Kovrizhnykh explained that the first and second groups are separated by only one mistake.
The secret is that cherries need to be planted in pairs of two different varieties. There should be at least two varieties on one plot.
Why is this important? Because cherries are cross-pollinated plants. Therefore, this is very important for a large harvest.
There is also a solution for owners of small plots. When space is limited, it is difficult to fit two cherry trees, because you want to plant other crops as well.
In this case, one variety is planted and the second is grafted into the crown. This approach greatly saves space on the plot, but at the same time allows you to successfully grow cherries.
