Most gardeners and vegetable growers treat celandine as a weed.
At the same time, some farmers are in no hurry to get rid of the perennial with a caustic orange juice, noted the expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .
Instead of pulling out the valuable plant or digging up its roots, gardeners use celandine as a natural insecticide.
Thus, the weed has proven its effectiveness as a means of getting rid of aphids that have settled on vegetable crops, fruit trees and berry bushes.
To do this, you will need to stock up on a significant amount of freshly cut celandine.
The crushed stems and leaves should be filled to a fifth of the bucket's volume, after which the grass should be poured with water.
The preparation should be infused for about half an hour, and then it must be filtered.
After all these procedures are completed, the composition is considered ready for use. It is worth treating the plantings as many times as it takes to completely destroy the aphids.
