Many gardeners and vegetable growers do not want to throw away garlic peels.

According to the expert of the online publication Belnovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , instead of throwing the peelings in the trash, farmers have found many ways to use them.

So, one of the options is to use the husk as a base for preparing a solution that protects plants from bacteria.

To do this, you will need to throw the remaining garlic into boiling water and continue to boil for 15 minutes.

After the decoction has cooled, pour it into a spray bottle and spray it on violets, orchids and other indoor flowers to protect them from attacks by aphids or spider mites.

It is believed that garlic can also protect potatoes from the Colorado potato beetle.

You can check whether this is true or not by soaking the peel in water and leaving it overnight, and then spraying the potato beds in the morning.

Finally, the peelings will help keep carrots and other vegetables fresh. Sprinkle the products with garlic peelings and they will be protected from rotting.
