Aphids can be found on vegetable and berry crops, as well as on flowers in the garden.
It is worth remembering that such contact is mortally dangerous for any plant.
If you notice a pest on your roses, you should not delay, says landscape designer and agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti.
If the concentration of the pest on the flowers is not too high, then you can try a simple mechanical method - treating the roses with water. The aphids are washed off the flowers and no longer pose a threat to them.
But there is a more reliable method that always gives a positive result.
You will need to dilute no more than 50 ml of ammonia in a bucket of water and add a couple of spoons of special green soap. If you don’t have such a product, you can use regular liquid soap.
Then we start spraying the roses with the prepared composition. Try to carry out the treatment so that there are no untreated areas left on the roses.
After seven days, it is advisable to repeat the treatment to maintain the effect.
