Real incomes of Belarusians increased by 16.3% over 5 years
According to the National Statistical Committee of Belarus, over the past five years, real disposable income of Belarusians has grown by 16.3%.
This was reported by the Belstat telegram channel.
Belstat also reported that the share of the population with a per capita disposable income level below the subsistence minimum has decreased by more than a third over the past five years and amounted to 3.6% last year.
Earlier today, Belstat reported that in January-September of this year, real incomes of Belarusians grew by 9.4%.
Salaries accounted for 65.6% of the total monetary income of the population for January-September.
Income from entrepreneurial and other income-generating activities amounted to 7.8%.
Transfers to the population (benefits, pensions, scholarships, other payments) amounted to 21.9%.
Property income and other income accounted for 4.7% of total cash income.
Real disposable income is income minus fees, charges and taxes, adjusted for the consumer price index.
