Most dollar holders can simply be “thrown”: Katasonov warns
In the future, it is possible that traditional fiat money will be abandoned in favor of electronic money.
At least the global financial elite is already preparing for the corresponding changes.
This information was shared by Russian economics specialist Valentin Katasonov, DEITA.RU reports.
The expert does not rule out that the transition to the use of electronic money may occur quite soon.
It may happen in a few years, or even in a few months.
Katasonov believes that the specific date of the beginning of the new economic period depends on the strength of today's global financial system, in which the American currency plays an important role.
The situation with the dollar system
According to the expert, the United States has recently printed a lot of money that is not backed by anything.
The result, as the expert noted, was a rapid increase in inflation in the US.
And, according to Katasonov, the situation has reached the point where it is impossible to export excess money to other countries.
The economist noted that a number of countries have begun to get rid of dollars in their reserves.
In such conditions, the American authorities are forced, according to the expert, to take such a step as replacing the dollar system, which has encountered serious problems, with an electronic money system.
There remains only one intrigue: at what exact moment will the “monetary authorities” of the United States decide to “zero out” the old money.
When the appropriate measures are taken, dollar savings will simply "burn up." And few will be able to replace old money with new, Valentin Katasonov believes.
The expert issued the following warning: many people who keep their savings in American currency may simply be ripped off.
