Belstat reported how much money was spent on construction contract work this year
It recently became known how much money was spent on construction contract work in Belarus this year.
We are talking about the period from January to August (inclusive) 2024.
The figure was published by the press service of the National Statistical Committee (Belstat).
According to the agency, 12.8 billion rubles were spent on the specified purposes during the specified time period.
It is also stated that over the first 8 months of this year, 27.6% of the total volume of contract work was for major and current repairs.
And the private form of ownership was the most involved in the construction sector – 78.6%.
In second place is state ownership with an indicator of 20.9%, in third place is foreign ownership (0.5%).
By region, the largest share in the republican volume of contract work falls on Minsk – 31.8%.
The TOP-3 also included Minsk and Brest regions, whose indicators for the 8 months of 2024 amounted to 18.3% and 11.3%, respectively.
Next come Gomel (10.8%), Grodno (9.8%), Mogilev (9.2%) and Vitebsk (8.9%) regions.
