Nuts are great for satisfying hunger, and like any food product, they are good for your health, but this knowledge is clearly not enough.
Some types of nuts are good for brain health, others help you lose weight, and others help you normalize your sugar levels, for example.
Experts have revealed which nuts are best suited for a diet.
Peanuts and cashews are best suited for this purpose.
The first is rich in fiber, protein and healthy fats, and also contains antioxidants.
Cashews are rich in mono- and polyunsaturated fats, which lower bad cholesterol and are good for the heart. Both are great for curbing hunger.
Brazil nuts are recommended, as they are rich in selenium. Just two nuts a day are enough to replenish the norm.
To normalize blood sugar levels, pistachios (unsalted, of course) and hazelnuts (rich in vitamin B6, phosphorus, potassium and zinc, healthy fats, and also contain oleic acid) are recommended.
Suitable nuts include almonds (normalizes blood pressure thanks to arginine), walnuts (reduce bad cholesterol levels, contain omega-3, alpha-linolenic acid), and pecans.
The latter contains omega-3 and omega-6, as well as vitamins A, E and folic acid.
Again, it is recommended to consume walnuts, which reduce the risk of developing cognitive impairment.
