White color is considered universal and classic.
It would seem that such a design option cannot spoil the interior in any way. But this is unfortunately not the case.
It is quite common for white color to deprive a room of its coziness.
How to avoid this? This question was answered by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti" in the field of design and interior Yulia Tychino.
A common mistake is to choose the classic version of this color.
At first glance, the “ordinary” white color (if it is the main color in the interior) brings only benefits: it expands the space, makes the room brighter, reduces the level of visual noise, and reduces the strain on the eyes.
But there is a problem: this design option turns a room that previously seemed comfortable and cozy into something reminiscent of a hospital room.
It becomes not very pleasant to be in such a place.
The above situation is not a reason to refuse to use white in the interior.
You just need to make the main color not the classic white, but one of its shades.
Good options: milky, creamy, beige. Choose any of them - and you will get all the advantages of white (visual expansion of space, conciseness, etc.), but will not turn the room into a "hospital ward".
