What is home staging
From English, this word, unusual for our ears, can be translated as "home staging". In essence, home staging is the pre-sale preparation of real estate and its presentation in a favorable light.
What needs to be done in the house
Get rid of clutter - a cluttered space repels potential buyers.
Remove personal items so buyers can imagine themselves in the home's owner's shoes.
If necessary, make minor repairs: glue the wallpaper, fix the taps. Peeling wallpaper and a dripping tap can have a negative effect not only on the nerves, but also on potential buyers.
Update the appearance of your home: install lanterns or wall lamps in the corners and on the facade of the building. Good lighting will make your home attractive in the evening.
What needs to be done on the site
Level the landscape and plant lawn grass for a beautiful “marketable” appearance of the site, and it is better to remove thickets and trash so that the buyer does not have to think about how to deal with it.
Create a comfortable recreation area with at least a simple canopy and benches, equip a barbecue area in the area around the house and try to arrange paths.
Tidy up the buildings and sheds, repair them if necessary and paint them. Don't forget about the fence.
