If you simply put the tree in a closet or basement, then the next time the holiday will begin with the fact that the tree will have to be tidied up, as it will be covered in dust.
How to store a Christmas tree
Most models have a collapsible design and factory packaging. Ideally, keep it, and then the problem will be solved.
Often, after dismantling, Christmas trees do not fit into the factory cardboard boxes.
Then it would be better to build a box out of plywood or plastic, or choose another container or a thick film bag.
But it is best to store the tree in rigid packaging so as not to damage the branches.
Where to store a Christmas tree
Many people ignore the manufacturer's advice and throw away the instructions, relying on personal experience.
In vain. Often such products need to be stored in a dry, warm and ventilated place.
Therefore, a cold balcony with temperature fluctuations or a damp basement are not suitable.
This can cause the tree to develop an unpleasant smell and the artificial needles to become matted.
At the same time, the frame can become corroded, and if you keep the tree in a transparent bag and in the sun, it can fade over the summer.
Ideal conditions include the top shelf of a closet, a heated storage room, or you can put the tree in a linen drawer in a sofa or bed.
